Electric stoneware diffusers, such as the Aroma Stone, gently warm the oil to release the fragrant oils into the room. You simply place a few drops of your favorite essential oil onto the stoneware diffuser and plug it in.
The diffuser warms the oil thus releasing the aroma into the air. With this type of diffuser you need not fuss with tea lights and water. There is also no glass to break. The diffuser is totally silent when in operation. The depression in which you place the oil is easy to keep clean. Just wipe it out with a little alcohol and you are set to go.
The only downside is that the type is not capable of diffusing a large room. They are great for small rooms, such as offices and bedrooms.They are safe for a child's room as well provided they are out of reach of little hands.
