Common Name: Atlas Cedar is native to the Atlas mountains in Algeria and Morocco. Atlas can grow to 30 to 35 meters in height and is considered a large tree. Grown as a ornamental tree for landscaping purposes because it is tolerant of dry soil conditions.
Usage: Cedar wood is an astringent and has fungicidal properties. It is good for facial applications to clear blemished skin,and also for respiratory problems such as infections and congestion. Another application is to treat dandruff and scalp conditions. Also recommended to treat rheumatism and arthritic pain.
