Common Name: A tall Mediterranean herb which is used in cooking and in salads.

Usage: Recommended for urinary tract problems or to calm digestive issues such as upset stomach nausea and vomiting. Also will help to promote lactation in nursing mothers when drunk as a tea due to the estrogen enhancing properties of the herb. Nursing mothers should only use the fresh herb not the oil as it is too strong.

Add the essential oil to skin preparations to help with dry or aging skin care, wrinkles, bruises, and rashes.

Diffuse the essential oil to promote appetite and to create a positive uplifting mindset when there is adversity.

Precautions: Avoid fennel if you have estrogen related health issues. Epileptics should also avoid Fennel because it is a nervous system stimulant. Can have a narcotic affect when used in large doses.
